I had a brief flirtation with distance running in college, but it still took me a few more years after that to fall in love with it. In 2013, a friend invited me to run the Rutgers Unite Half Marathon, and I trained really hard for that and surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it. I completed the Philly full later that year and my relationship with running was solidified. Since then I’ve enjoyed distances from 5K to 50K and love to mix up terrain, pace, and running partners. I am excited to see where Women Run Monto goes! Cheers!
